Performance Highlights
High-drain 21700 battery. The INR21700-60Q supports 60A continuous discharge at room temperature, 110A discharge at 80°C temperature cut, and 150A pulse discharge for 2 seconds. However, the 60A continuous rating is not intended for cycle use.
Strong rate capability. At 25°C, relative capacity is about 95% at 30A and 90% at 50A, based on the 1.2A discharge capacity. Therefore, the cell maintains useful capacity under high-load conditions.
Reliable cycle life. The cell reaches 800 cycles with ≥80% capacity retention under 6A charge/6A discharge. Moreover, under 6A charge/30A discharge to 2.5V or 75°C cut-off, it reaches 300 cycles with ≥80% retention.
Wide discharge temperature range. Discharge operation covers -40°C to 75°C. In addition, charge operation is 0°C to 60°C; charging below 0°C is not recommended.
Safety-tested design. The cell is tested for forced discharge, overcharge, external short circuit, drop, thermal shock, and crush. As a result, test criteria require no explosion and no fire.
Storage and maintenance. Store at room temperature with about 30%–50% capacity. For long storage, recharge about once every six months to prevent over-discharge.
