A standard 21700 cell with 6000mAh capacity

The INR21700/60Q is a full-tab 21700 lithium-ion cell. It measures 21.45mm in diameter and 70.6mm in height, so it fits many existing 21700 pack designs.

Nominal capacity is 6000mAh, with a minimum of 5900mAh. Nominal voltage is 3.6V. For buyers, this means more runtime without changing the cell format.

High power for demanding applications

The full-tab design helps reduce internal resistance. AC internal resistance is ≤5mΩ at 30% SOC. DCIR is <20mΩ at 25°C.

The cell supports 60A continuous discharge at room temperature, 110A discharge with an 80°C cut-off, and 150A pulse discharge for 2 seconds.

This makes it suitable for high-drain devices where standard 21700 cells may not be enough.

Fast charging capability

Maximum continuous charge current is 12A, or 2C. Reference charge time is about 30 minutes.

Standard charge is 3A CC-CV to 4.2V with 300mA cut-off.

Do not charge below 0°C. Low-temperature charging can reduce capacity and shorten cycle life.

Cycle life you can plan around

Two cycle benchmarks are specified:

• 800 cycles to ≥80% initial capacity at 6A charge and 6A discharge.
• 300 cycles to ≥80% initial capacity at 6A charge and 30A discharge to 2.5V or 75°C cut-off.

Temperature performance

Discharge operating range is -40°C to 75°C. Relative capacity is about 70% at -20°C and about 85% at 0°C.

Charge operating range is 0°C to 60°C.

This is useful for cold-weather tools, outdoor products, and other demanding environments.

The cell is tested for forced discharge, overcharge, external short circuit, drop, thermal shock, and crush.

Acceptance criteria are no explosion and no fire.

The warranty period is one year from shipment. It covers manufacturing defects, not customer abuse or misuse.
